HERE ARE SOME VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNTIES FOR THIS NEW 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR AT VALLEYFIELD:

  • Terry Fox Run (Sept TBD supervision or sound system)
  • Pizza Lunches (once a month, 10:30-11:30am)
  • Scholastic Book Fair (help set up or take down the books, help with check out at lunch time or on 1 family evening event)
  • Le Chef à l’école (French cooking activity 90 minutes with your junior child’s class. No knowledge of French required - help with oven use)
  • Skating (half day - walking from the school to the rink, helping tie skates, and walking back)
  • Winter play day (half day, helping with snacks or activities)
  • Field trips (museum, science center, farm, Black Creek pioneer village, park, etc.)
  • Scientists in Schools (half day - helping small groups of students follow instructions)
  • June play day (half day, helping with snacks or activities)
  • Snack Program (7am, help sort snacks for students)

Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night for Parents and Students will be held on September 22nd, 2022, from 6-7pm. A school bus is available to bring families to school for the Curriculum Night. A sign up form has been sent home with your child. If you would like more information, please contact the school office at 416-394-7590.
